Teenagers from Outer Space (1959 Movie)

DVD: www.amazon.com thefilmarchived.blogspot.com Teenagers from Outer Space is a 1959 science-fiction film about an extraterrestrial space ship landing on Earth to use it as a farm for its food supply. The crew of the ship includes teenagers, two of whom oppose each other in their activities. The independent film was originally distributed by Warner Brothers. The film was later featured in an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000. Teenagers from Outer Space was filmed on location in and around Hollywood, California, with a number of tell-tale landmarks like Bronson Canyon in Griffith Park and Hollywood High School giving away the film’s hazy locale. One notable aspect of the film is that it was largely the work of a single person, Tom Graeff, who, in addition to playing the role of reporter Joe Rogers, wrote, directed, edited, and produced the film, on which he also provided cinematography, special effects, and music coordination. Producers Bryan and Ursula Pearson (“Thor” and “Hilda”) and Gene Sterling (“The Leader”) provided the film’s 000 budget, which was less than shoe-string by the standards of the time. According to Bryan Pearson, the crew employed many guerrilla tactics in order to cut costs. Director Tom Graeff secured the location for Betty Morgan’s house for free by posing as a UCLA student (while Graeff had attended the school, he had graduated 5 years earlier). The older woman who owned the house even let the crew use her electricity to power equipment

THE ROAD TO FLIGHT

The music and archival footage are excerpted and re-edited from the movie “Gizmo!” directed by Howard Stern, a photographer and journalist and won an Academy Award for his 1972 documentary “Marjoe”. The song “Eureka” was written by composer Charles Strouse, who wrote the music for the hit Broadway show “Bye Bye Birdie”, the film score for “Bonnie and Clyde”, and the theme for TV’s “All In The Family”. The song was sung by Bill Chinnock, who formed bands with several Jersey Shore musicians who would go on to be in Bruce Springsteen’s “E Street Band”. Two of Chinnock’s songs later became themes for the soaps “Search for Tomorrow: and “Guiding Light”. Finally, the Wingsuit footage is by the amazing Red Bull Air Force BASE jumping team.

Lockheed U-2 USAF Aerospace Power

airboyd.tv Courtesy United States Air Force Mission The U-2 provides high-altitude, all-weather surveillance and reconnaissance, day or night, in direct support of US and allied forces. It delivers critical imagery and signals intelligence to decision makers throughout all phases of conflict, including peacetime indications and warnings, low-intensity conflict, and large-scale hostilities. Features The U-2S is a single-seat, single-engine, high-altitude/near space reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft providing signals, imagery, and electronic measurements and signature intelligence, or MASINT. Long and narrow wings give the U-2 glider-like characteristics and allow it to quickly lift heavy sensor payloads to unmatched altitudes, keeping them there for extended periods of time. The U-2 is capable of gathering a variety of imagery, including multi-spectral electro-optic, infrared, and synthetic aperture radar products which can be stored or sent to ground exploitation centers. In addition, it also supports high-resolution, broad-area synoptic coverage provided by the optical bar camera producing traditional film products which are developed and analyzed after landing. The U-2 also carries a signals intelligence payload. All intelligence products except for wet film can be transmitted in near real-time anywhere in the world via air-to-ground or air-to-satellite data links, rapidly providing critical information to combatant commanders. MASINT provides indications of

TR-3B (AURORA) CLASSIFIED RALPH6343 The real deal!!!

TR-3B BLACK MANTA TR-3B’s propulsion system as follows: “A circular, plasma filled accelerator ring called the Magnetic Field Disrupter, surrounds the rotatable crew compartment and is far ahead of any imaginable technology… The plasma, mercury based, is pressurized at 250000 atmospheres at a temperature of 150 degrees Kelvin, and accelerated to 50000 rpm to create a super-conductive plasma with the resulting gravity disruption. The MFD generates a magnetic vortex field, which disrupts or neutralizes the effects of gravity on mass within proximity, by 89 percent… The current MFD in the TR-3B causes the effect of making the vehicle extremely light, and able to outperform and outmaneuver any craft yet …My sources say the performance is limited only the stresses that the human pilots can endure. Which is a lot, really, considering along with the 89% reduction in mass, the G forces are also reduced by 89%. The crew of the TR-3B should be able to comfortable take up to 40Gs… Reduced by 89%, the occupants would feel about 4.2 Gs. The TR-3Bs propulsion is provided by 3 multimode thrusters mounted at each bottom corner of the triangular platform. The TR-3 is a sub-Mach 9 vehicle
