Combat Rescue Afghanistan CSAR Pararescue “Pedros” Full Video
Some of my mission footage from Afghanistan of Air Force/Air National Guard Combat Rescue/CASEVAC operations in the Helmand Valley region. Responding on the fly via the HH-60G Pave Hawk, CSAR is an advanced and highly capable rescue system for the coalition forces fighting in Afghanistan. This very sobering deployment is probably my last in an “operational” capacity as I transition within my military career. Regardless of where I end up, I will continue to push for a dedicated high quality filming team, and a “prime time” outlet for the public to maintain it’s connection with our service-members. Mad respect for you guys. 99.9% of the U.S. population will never be able to comprehend the great love you have for your fellow servicemembers and your country. Thanks for sharing part of your story. You guys should seriously try to make a movie for the big screen, you are the real everyday heroes that some never know about.

My dad was a door gunner back in the Veitnam war and he was the first person to tell me the “joke” “how do you shoot women and children?….dont lead them as much” pretty sick ik but that was the joke floating around the corps back then i guess.

Being a crewchief working on these birds is pretty damn cool. Seeing these take off everyday is something else and when being the one who’s launch them out make it even better!

Unfortunately the Air Force and the Navy denied me for medical reasons. It looks like the Army may still be a possibility though. I would love nothing more than to be a combat medic.

@REBELRACING101 don’t “hope” for anything. TELL the recruiter what you WANT to do and make sure you get everything in writing. good luck in your endeavors!
